Abstract

In this thesis is attempted, the emergence of forms of agritourism in Epirus and economic contribution to rural tourism in the region. Initially, there is a conceptual approach of the term agritourism, its history, the positive and negative effects brought about, as well as its relationship to the Sustainable Development. Then presented forms agrotourism there are particular rates agritourism in the region of Epirus, as a form of alternative tourism which is directly related to the specific characteristics of the region. Finally, conclusions are provided which emerged through research.
