Abstract

The purpose of this work is the presentation of vine crops and ways of protection from insects that attack and more specifically from the cicadas. Initially, we present the vine cultivation, terrain, climate, irrigation, fertilization, pruning and varieties that exist. Then described the insects that attack the vine and in particular of cicadas. Thereafter, carried out the experimental part of the work deals with how to address cicadas with essential oils and finally, the conclusions which emerged through research.
